Local support across Fleetwood & the Fylde Coast
Practical support for local people facing financial hardship, from food and household essentials to accommodation and other needs they may otherwise go without.
About the Foundation
01Everyone's circumstances are different. The Harris Foundation exists to help local people who are struggling to afford the things they genuinely need.
Support can be very practical. It may mean helping with food, a bed or other essential household items, finding suitable accommodation, or connecting someone with the right local service when further help is needed.
The aim is simple: make sure people are not left without basic essentials simply because they cannot afford them.
What we do
From food and household essentials to accommodation and local referrals, support is shaped around the person's actual circumstances.
Helping when someone cannot afford food or other basic day-to-day essentials.
Providing practical help with essential household items, such as a bed, when the cost is out of reach.
Helping people access safe and suitable accommodation where housing is part of the problem.
Working with local organisations and agencies when someone needs support beyond what we can provide directly.
Getting support
02If you believe the Foundation may be able to support you, or someone you are helping, start with the application form.
Complete the support application with enough information for us to understand the situation.
The information helps us understand what support may be appropriate and what the next step should be.
Where the Foundation can help, the next steps can then be discussed clearly and directly.
